Gently glide the roller-ball applicator back and forth over clean, dry, healed skin 5-6 times to apply a thin, even layer. Allow the gel to dry before covering the area with clothing or applying other skincare products. SilDerm® should be applied twice a day. Always follow the instructions provided in the product leaflet.
Tips for dryingThe process of drying is assisted by the temperature difference between the gel and the skin. To reduce drying time in hotter climates, keep SilDerm® refrigerated.

When should I start using SilDerm®? You can begin using SilDerm® once the wound has fully closed and any scabs have disappeared. If you’re unsure when to start, speak with your healthcare professional before applying.
Can I use SilDerm® on sensitive skin?SilDerm® contains 100% silicone and is suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin. If you have very sensitive skin or a known allergy to silicone, consult with your healthcare professional before use. Avoid direct contact with eyes, mucous membranes, third degree burns and open wounds.
Can SilDerm® be used with other scar therapy products? Yes, SilDerm® can be used in conjunction with pressure garments or other scar therapy options.
